Your 40 Million Dollar Stimulus

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

As a Pastor and a CEO, I continue to hear the desperate cries of families and businesses saying, “I could sure use a bailout!” What if financial relief was as close as your garage? In a recent survey CharestCorp Church Design Builders discovered that that is exactly the case. Just in the greater Fresno area people have over 40 million dollars stored in their garages and mini-storage’s. Now we just need a way to convert it into dollars!

Enter the Fresno Indoor Flea Market! This nonprofit community flea market concept will allow individuals and churches from all over the valley to help their community help themselves. Opening on April 17th from 7am to 3pm every Saturday and Sunday. Over 100 vendors and dozens of churches are preparing to be involved so the problem (which is a good one to have), will be scheduling when booths are available. If your interested call Alejandra Charest at (559)392-7671 Enjoy food, friends, and fantastic deals.

The Value of Children’s Ministry Space

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

An investment in your children’s ministry is a visible testimony to your community that you care about kids and families. Churches across the country are creating engaging environments for this very reason. In addition, themed areas and play features lead to growth in regular attendance and subsequent increases to membership. With a properly designed space, your children’s ministry area is likely to become your church’s most effective vehicle for growth and #1 outreach opportunity.

Properly designed themed features and play attractions are not just props and decorations. They are tools to help reach the hearts and minds of the kids. Creating an original, themed environment at your church will lead to more transformational experiences. And, more transformational experiences will lead to more personal relationships with Christ.

So, what is your church’s identity or message to families? What tools do you need to reach your local community? How effectively do you attract new visitors?
